Difference Between Crip Walk and Clown Walk

Clown walk was made to distance the relationship of Crip walk away from the gang Crips, hence the name. "Clown Walk" is a modern dance style.

Most people think crip walk and clown walk are the same thing but in fact there quite different. Clown Walk is usually perfomed much more faster then Crip Walk. Clown Walk is based on the foundational moves from the Crip Walk such as V and Shuffle.

The True difference between Clown Walk and Crip Walk is that it is not gang related. You dont flash gang signs or gang gestures. It is mainly for fun and entertainment.
